Dear Festivalgoer,
We've now announced the full line-up for this year's Cornbury Festival and we're really proud as we think it's the best yet. From legendary artists like Paul Simon, Toots & The Maytals, and Nick Lowe to newer stars Crowded House, KT Tunstall, and Beverley Knight.
Actually we're packed out with a great diversity of artists from The Bangles to 10cc, The Beat and Half Man Half Biscuit. We're really pleased to have a strong blues contingent with the wonderful Eric Bibb and rapidly rising star Joe Bonamassa.
A strong folk bill from our friends at Oxford Folk stars the extraordinary Bellowhead, Salsa Celtica and American new country star, Tift Merritt. We couldn't be without rising star, Imelda May and great new talent Tom Baxter.
We're making improvements all round to produce an even better festival this year. Festivalgoers will see improvements in camping, better signage, more bars, more food and above all smaller queues ! Basically the same festival, better planned, with Cornbury's unique a mix of music and entertainment and the special atmosphere that you have helped us create.
Sales are already way ahead of last year, so if you’re planning to join us please buy your tickets now using the following link to our tickets kiosk.
Thank you again for your support. I look forward to seeing you over the festival weekend.
Best wishes,
Hugh Phillimore
Festival Director

New edition out now:
The magazine contains five (FIVE!) glorious, exclusive, brand-new interviews with the members of Radiohead by THE WORD's Andrew Harrison.
It's accompanied by particularly fine set of documentary pictures by new-to-WORD photographer Shamil Tanna. The shoot provides a peek into the band's private world as they rehearse at the Hospital Studios, London, where they recorded much of In Rainbows.
