This concerns a tale in the Storytime section of the site regarding a riot at a Steve Miller Band gig in Richmond, VA. Parishioner Curbut comments ...
"C'mon dude- Miller never said that stuff cause it didn't happen. I was there and it was 1974, not 1969. No bulldozer, no Star Spangled Banner, no rock star putting a halt to the "festivities." Lots of cops, fire, destroyed government vehicles. Some injuries; lots of arrests. The show definitely did not go on and the riot eventually petered out in the face of overwhelming show of force."
So that clears that one up.
