:: so who is Rebbie Jackson?

Janet, Latoya ... and Rebbie?

Rebbie Jackson, 59 years old women, is the eldest of who we may refer to as the Jackson 9.Rebbie Jackson

She is also the quietist sister. We hear little from or about her.

Maureen Jackson, better known as Rebbie Jackson, is the oldest of the 9 children of the famous Jackson family, making her the big sis to superstars Michael, Janet, and La Toya Jackson. However, many people have never even heard Rebbie’s music, although she has the strongest voice of all the Jackson sisters. Her first big hit, “Centipede”, written and produced by her brother Michael, managed the no. 4 spot on the Billboard R&B charts. Rebbie has released four albums. Her final album “Yours Faithfully” was released in 1998, and featured “Centipede” as well as the new singles “Yours Faithfully” and “You Take Me Places”. Today, Rebbie spends her time at home in Las Vegas, Nevada, Florida with her family.

This was not by choice. Like the other Jacksons, Rebbie made a serious effort to have a huge career in music. She rivals her brothers and sisters in talent and charm. But, success in the entertainment business is a coin toss, even if your last name is Jackson.

Her biggest single was “Centipede” and she came out with four albums: “Centipede,” “Reaction,” “R U Tuff Enough” and “Yours Faithfully.”

Rebbie was a regular on the Jacksons TV program, which aired on CBD for one year beginning in 1976 and she made several appearances on “Soul Train” (including a duet with the New Edition).
